Our New Years Eve......Party?

Alright, alright. It was not much of a party, but Daddy has been sick for over two weeks. We were going to a New Years Party thrown by some friends of ours, but decided that it would be better to just stay home, since he was still sick. (Don't worry, he is on antibiotics and starting to feel a bit better.)

Anyhow, some little cute 6 year old (I wonder who that could be) wanted to roast marshamllows.

Now, how on earth do you roast marshmallows in a teeny tiny apartment without a fireplace? I'll show you....

As you can see it was a clever little idea and it worked beautifully. It toasted them just nicely and we never had one burn completely to a crisp. It was great. Just how great you ask? Well, Here is a picture of our little marshmallow face:

Its actually a very clever little idea. We then watched Ratatouille, which we rented with a free movie coupon, so that cost us nothing. (Very cute little movie.) Then we watched the Dick Clark New Years Rocking Eve Party and popped some party poppers, and here is the end result:

As you can see Anna is almost completely wiped out, but not too wiped out, since her Grammy called her at 12:01am. Lol!! She excitedly took that phone call.

And then it was straight to bed. She slept in till 9:30am, which if you don't know my daughter, that is GREAT for her. She never sleeps in. As you can see we had a fun kind of relaxing night. It was very enjoyable. Maybe next year Daddy won't be sick and we can go to the other event we wanted to. So, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Make it Great in 2008. It is a time for New Beginnings.
