Anna's Birthday

Well, Anna's birthday came just like every year, but this year we decided to do something extra special. This year we went roller skating. It was great. The kids and adults alike all had a great time. Here are some pictures of that special day.

We had a great time and are thinking about doing something "extra" fun again next year. Skating was terrific and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Shaena for all your help cleaning. I couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to all who came out to make Anna's birthday extra special. It was a lot of fun.

Soccer

October drew to a close Anna's soccer season. She had a great time and really did get a bit better. We ended the season with a parents versus the kids game. Here are a few more soccer pics that you might enjoy seeing from that last game!!

Go Anna!!!

Go Mom!!!

Go Dad!!!

As you can see we had a great time with that last game. It was tiring, but a lot of fun. Anna really enjoyed soccer and we are looking forward to her next sporting endeavor, whatever that may be!!

My Birthday

Ok, I know we missed it and I am really behind in blogging, but now I am trying to catch up. For my birthday in October, I was semi-sick. I had some sort of viral infection that made me nauseous and not like the smell or look of food, but Jeremy tried to make it special anyways. After getting ready in the morning for church, Jeremy and Anna showered me with gifts and love.
.
After church, we went to his mom's for a roast dinner, which is one of my favorites. We also had cake there. It was good. After some peaceful time and relaxation in the afternoon, I was blind folded and taken on a crazy drive through parts of Lubbock for a dinner at my favorite restaurant:
It was a lot of fun. We had a very good time and it was definitely a birthday I will never forget.

(P.S. I don't know why Anna looks so silly, but we really had a great time.) :-)

Throw Out the Potatoes Dear!

LOL!!! Ok, We have an inside family joke between Jeremy and I. It happened a long time ago when I asked him to "throw out the potatoes in the fridge." He threw out my brand new 10 lb bag of potatoes and not the old nasty mashed potatoes that I was meaning for him to throw out. We still laugh about it to this day. LOL. It was just a misunderstanding. Well, yesterday at dinner, I noticed Anna had a glass of water on the table from the sponge painting she was doing earlier, so I asked her to dump the water in the sink and throw out the container. I certainly did not realize or even think about the bottled water she had sitting directly beside it and sure enough, my darling daughter takes the full bottled water, dumps it in the sink and throws the bottle in the trash. I started griping at her for not being careful and why would we waste that water, it costs too much to buy bottled water, etc, etc. My husband looks at me and starts laughing and states "throw out the potatoes dear." I was done for then. LOL!! Jeremy and I both burst into a ton of laughter while our daughter looked at us like we were crazy!!
