Medical Update

I know some of you ave been waiting for an update, I have too. LOL!! I have decided that the rheumatologist I saw is crazy. He is not only a lousy doctor, but he has a horrible bedside manner. Even my primary doctor said so. Its no wonder he had an opening faster than the other. Anyhow, enough on that, I do have a diagnosis from my primary doctor and they are following a treatment plan based on the results of my two expensive and way off the wall specialist visits. It is Rheumatoid Arthritis. All his notes say it is, even if he told me it wasn't. (He's one confusing doctor to follow!!) Anyhow, on Wednesday I started on a typical DMARD (disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug.) We will see how all this goes. My primary care doctor did not have good things to say about the rheumy I saw and neither do I. Anyhow, so for right now, I am praying that this is a good course of treatment and in a few weeks I see results. I go back in a month for a re-check. Anyhow, that's all for now.
