Mommy Moments

Alright, I admit it....I am CRAZY! I had a horrible mommy moment yesterday where I kept getting the feeling that something was wrong with my little girl. I couldn't shake the feeling and it was making me sick with worry. She was at daycare, and more than likely safe and sound (and having fun) but I just couldn't shake that feeling that something was seriously wrong with her. To make a long story short, after calling my husband and fretting over it some more, I called the daycare to check on her and sure enough she was fine. They must think I am a complete nutcase now, but it made me feel temporarily better. UGH! Now to take her in there today and explain the weird mommy feeling. Please tell me I am not crazy and this has happened to some of you before!! Please?!?! Alright, I may be the only mommy nut, but I just couldn't shake that feeling. She was fine by the way and they were playing with legos when I called! UGH! I AM CRAZY!

1 Week to Go

Well, I have one week till I go part-time. I hope i make it through this week. Yesterday I enjoyed my last Saturday off for a very long time....almost forever. As a part-time worker I will have to work every Saturday...ugh. I need to work it anyhow because we need that little extra income. I am hoping to go see my family in the next few weeks as well. It will be fun, if we can swing it in the budget. Gas prices don't exactly make it easy.

As a side note, we went to the library again yesterday as we try to go at least once a week. Anyhow, while we were there, Anna discovered movies! Yes, movies. She found a Leap Frog movie we don't have and wanted to check it out right away. Unfortunately, moveis have only a 3 day loan period and with me still working full-time this week there is no way we would ever make it back to turn it in on time (I have yet to find the after hours drop box). So, next week, I guarantee she will want to rent a movie or two. Free movie rentals from the library, here we come. :-)

Alright, time to get ready for church. Anna wants her finger nails painted pink. Have a good day all!

Memories

My husband did something today that brought back a lot of memories of someone we all hold dear to our hearts. Instead of trying to explain, please just watch the video and listen to the lyrics. It is a very hearfelt and sentimental video, so please just watch and enjoy.



Thank you honey for doing such a great job. Matthew was a true blessing to our family and he will NEVER be forgotten. I sure do miss him and wish we could see him grown up.

Dentist Surgery

Alright, there is nothing more terrifying than watching your precious little girl through a glass window while she is watching the every move of every person in the room. I felt so trapped, but knew for my daughters health and teeth that she needed to get this done. The dentist was worried that because of her age and the extent of the damage that we would need two root canals as well being put to sleep, but everything worked out great. She did not need root canals and they did not fully put her to sleep. She had concious sedation, which was enough to knock her out, but not enough to make her unaware. She could follow through with their commands and keep her mouth open. The suregery was a success. The dentist gave me the A-ok signal through the window that she was doing great. My pretty little girl now has two new caps on her back teeth and may need more on the very back two, but for now she has good teeth yet again. Now we need to get her through the drowsiness and pray that she keeps food down tonight so we can be completely back to normal. Today is a movie day! Thanks for all the prayers everyone!

Ok, here's the results of my list, two days late. That story is coming later...

4. Clean the kitchen Check (need to do again as well)
5. Clean the desk Did it yesterday night after the kids went to bed, so not on Saturday at all.)
6. Clean the bathroom Check
7. Go swimming with Anna Check and Avery too
8. Paint with Anna (She's dying to do it.) Check (pictures to come later)
9. Report back here Not quite. Too busy, but you do get the report today.

Well, thats how I did. The reason for not getting everything done....well, I could make excuses and tell you thats its all someone else's fault, but that wouldn't get me anywhere now would it. We had our niece and nephew, Avery and Aydin, spend the night with us on Saturday night and last night, so I had three kids for the weekend and that would be why everything didn't get done by Saturday night. I didn't do to bad though and the extra time with both kids was terrific. We love having them over and spending time with them. It makes our house come alive again and we love every minute of it. So what if the trash didn't get emptied or if the dishes need to be done again. We were very busy with three little cuties all weekend. It was great. Thanks Michelle and Kevin for letting us watch your babies. :-)

Can I do it?

Alright all, I am listing my plans for the day to see if I can keep them. I will let you know how I did tonight after I put Anna to bed. Here is the list. Hope I don't leave anything out.

Alright, not an insanely long list, but when you add in breakfast, lunch, dinner, showers and potty breaks along with play time to keep things fun, you can see that something or some things on this list will NOT get done. Lets see what they are at the end of the day. I am betting its some of the things I need to clean off, but I will bet that Anna has a good day with her Mommy. Talk tonight, if I remember that one too. LOL!

Pictures Still Coming

Pictures are still coming. We were all completely exhausted when we got home late on the 4th and yesterday we all worked and went to bed at the same time as Anna, 9:00pm. I know, I know. That is early, but the lack of sleep the night before hit us bad so we needed sleep. I will get the pictures out to you by Sunday though. There are some very cute ones and we had a blast. The fireworks were terrific. Have a great Friday everyone. I promise pictures and story on Sunday. We are going to a homeschooling meeting tomorrow morning and then I have to work. Take care.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy fourth of July. Hope you all enjoy it and I will be sure to post pictures when we are done. I am sure I will enjoy it, but will pay the price on Thursday, when I am bright red and burned to a crisp. Enjoy your day all.

Cleaning Day

Well, Jeremy got home and I don't think he realized what all I had done today. The apartment is way different and clean. I have been cleanging all day and making it look good again and not a word. Anyhow, I sure hope my freecycle people come through soon so I can get the piles of junk from by the door. I am getting tired of people saying they will come at a certain time and never showing. I am also tired of people who say they are interested, and never say a word to you again when you write them back. I want this stuff gone people, thats why I posted it for. I am trying to save you money. Please come when you say you will. Alright, vent over. Time for shopping, painting finger nails (Anna's) and making dinner. Hopefully when Jeremy gets back from taking in the rent, he will realize how CLEAN the place is and notice what all has changed. I am not telling all the changes...I want him to guess and tell me. LOL!! Wish me luck people!
