What was I thinking

Alright, so it wasn't the brightest move I have ever made, but I went to the movies last night with Jeremy and we had every intention of seeing Ratatouille, but we only had passes and you couldn't use passes on that movie. We debated going to see two seperate movies, but I thought that would debate the purpose of "going to the movies together," so we went and saw his pick for a movie....Fantastic Four. Alright, so why on earth would I do that??? I was wanting to spend some quality time with my husband, thats why. But the Fantastic Four?? Not my kind of movie. People with weird super powers trying to save the world from the approaching menace. It was, well, it was weird. There was some humor in it and some good qualities, but I can not believe I sat down and watched a whole movie on that whole subject for 2 hours. What was I thinking??? Anyhow, I did enjoy the time with my husband even though we watched a weird movie and next time, whenever that may be, we are going to see a "chick flick" as he calls it. Thanks Michelle and Kevin for watching our little girl. I know she had fun over there. We appreciated the night out.

Never Coming Back

Ok, ok. I do NOT come home when I say I will. Yesterday I called Jeremy when I got off of work and told him I was picking up Anna from his mom's and we would be right home for dinner. Well, we came home, but that was after dinner at Grammy's. I couldn't resist. She asked if I wanted home-made french fries. I have a weakness there. Well, I thought for sure after an hour and a half that Jeremy would have called asking if I was ever coming back, but nope. He was already asleep for the night? At 8pm!!!! Must have been a long day. Anna and I shut the door and she got ready for bed: snack, teeth, jammies, book, pray, hugs and kisses, hugs and kisses. Yes, hugs and kisses a bizillion times. She always gets told how much we love her and Jesus loves her. I think she knows already, but it is so important to tell her all the time. Anyhow, she came out at 11:30pm while I was playing games and was scared, so I just held her for another half hour while I played games, then re-put her back to bed. I finally get to bed and wake up at 1:15am, yes AM to the phone ringing...the person who was supposed to buy something from us left the money wrapped in an email on someone else's front door, about 1 mile over. UGH! They were just getting home and forgot about the time they were calling. Needless to say, I will be picking this up this morning with Anna of course because we do everything together. Anyhow, time to get ready for the day. Have a good day all.

My First Post....

on my own blog that is. Jeremy and I decided it was about time for me to get my own blog. I have a lot going on that I want to post about and I don't want to feel like I am taking over his blog, so here it is. I will post about daily life of being a working, homeschooling (starting this fall) mom. I will also be including pictures and such about my daughter and our family, so be prepared. I am excited about this adventure and hope you will enjoy reading. So without further adieu, welcome to Mom's Highway.

P.S. The picture on Dad's Highway is an actual picture I took while driving down the highway. He loved it and made it his picture for his blog. I personally liked the pink background, and so did Anna, so thats why you get pink with me. Have a great day everyone.
